How to get to Albi
The best is to fly to Toulouse and take a train to Albi
From Paris you can either fly or take a train to Toulouse and then take a train to Albi.
Albi is about 80 miles northeast of Toulouse.

It is highly recommended that you arrive a few days earlier and spend a  couple of nights in either Toulouse ( beautiful city on the Garonne river) or in Albi (charming, "pink city" by the Tarn river).   Albi is a quieter place then Toulouse.

The retreat center is about 50 minutes from Albi by car.   There will be a pick up time around 4pm at the train station in Albi on Saturday July 1st to go to "La Combe".
The retreat will end on Saturday July 8th after Breakfast, we will be back in Albi by 11:30am.

TESTIMONIALS:

"Anne is a gifted teacher and her intuitive mastery of yoga makes her teachings a gift to her students. She brings great compassion to her work and one thing that sets her apart from other teachers is the careful sequencing of poses and the emphasis on mindful breathing that make the practice of yoga, Pranayama, and walking meditation deep and rich.
The center is in a beautiful location and the food is fabulous. Anne's partner Villard who was assisting Anne is a gifted yoga teacher in his own right.  I emerged from the retreat recharged, rebalanced and recommitted to my practice."

" Going to Anne's yoga retreat was probably one of the best decisions I made about myself, my body and my spirit!  I've even gone to the retreat twice!   At first I was afraid of doing yoga every day or that I would get bored, but frankly it was the opposite!   Anne is really patient and offers a lot of personal attention .  She taught me to be more independent about my practice, I knew after the retreat what to do to practice yoga alone at home! and I had the will to do it.

Another thing that makes this experience unforgettable is the location! beautiful place, serene and relaxing!   The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, the Yoga Studio fully equipped and the hosts are amazing!! The quality of the food is just unbelievable!! I've never eaten so well my entire life: so healthy!   If you have any hesitation, don't! Just do it!"

"I came to la Combe de la Périère in 2014 and it was a wonderful chance to concentrate on my practice for a week in a beautiful setting, to meet some fascinating fellow students, and revel in the culinary bounties from Sylvie's garden.  The accommodations are charming and comfortable, and the “salle de yoga” is equipped with every imaginable prop, including a full set of wall ropes. The environs are beautiful, and we took full advantage of this with several memorable hikes.

On the way to la Combe I stayed for a few nights in Albi to commune with the wry spirit of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec at the comprehensive museum devoted to his work. But the main point of all this was the yoga itself, of course: the asana, pranayama, and sutra study led by Anne with compassion and deep attention to each student's needs. It goes without saying that I recommend it highly--I'll be back in 2017!"
